Support that begins with understanding what matters to you.

Finding the right support can feel difficult, especially when you are already managing a lot. You may be looking for clearer communication, safer routines, stronger relationships, greater confidence or practical ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.

RM Therapy provides neuro-affirming allied health support for children, young people, adults and families in Bundoora, across the community and through telehealth. We take time to understand the person, their strengths, their experiences and the changes they would like to see before deciding what support may be helpful.

How we work

A place where understanding meets meaningful care.

Understanding the person

Every person experiences the world differently. We listen first so care reflects your strengths, preferences and goals.

Working together

With your consent, we collaborate with the people involved in your support to provide coordinated, respectful care.

Creating meaningful outcomes

We focus on skills, wellbeing and participation that make a positive difference in everyday life.

About RM Therapy

Meaningful care starts with understanding the person.

We take the time to learn about your experiences, strengths and goals so that any recommendations reflect what matters most to you. If we're not the right fit, we'll be open about it and help connect you with the support that is.

More about us

Our people

Who you'll be working with.

Psychologists, behaviour support practitioners, speech pathologists and counsellors. Have a look through and see who you might meet.

Common questions

Things people ask us before they start.

Do I need a referral?
Not for private appointments — you can book directly. For NDIS or Medicare-funded support you'll need the relevant plan in place, and we can talk you through what that involves.
Where do sessions happen?
At our clinic, in your home or community, or by telehealth. Telehealth works well for a lot of people, particularly if travelling is difficult or you live regionally.
What if it's not the right fit?
Tell us. We'd much rather help you find someone better suited than have you sit through sessions that aren't working for you.

Getting started

What happens after you contact us.

Three steps, and we'll keep you posted at each one so you're never left wondering where things are up to.

  1. Get in touch

Fill in the referral form or give us a call. Tell us as much or as little as you like about what's going on.

  2. We talk it through

We'll go over your goals, funding, availability and which service fits. Ask us anything at this stage.

  3. You get started

You'll meet your clinician, agree on a plan together, and begin.

Get in touch

Not sure where to start?

That's completely normal — most people aren't. Send through a referral form or give us a call, and we'll help you work out what you need.
