Psychology support at RM Therapy
Psychology support for what you are facing
You may be finding everyday life harder, managing difficult emotions or looking for a clearer understanding of your needs.
Our psychologists take time to understand your experiences and goals, then discuss an approach that fits your situation.
We support children, young people and adults, subject to the clinician’s areas of practice and availability.
What you can bring to an appointment
You do not need a diagnosis or a perfectly organised explanation to ask for support. We can start with what has changed, what you have noticed and what you would like help with.
- Anxiety, low mood or stress affecting daily life.
- Adjustment to change, loss, relationships or difficult experiences.
- Emotional wellbeing, coping and participation at home, school or work.
- Questions about developmental, cognitive or psychological needs.

Getting started
Your first appointment
Your psychologist will ask about what brought you in, your strengths, your priorities and any previous support.
You can ask questions about their approach, confidentiality and what future sessions may involve.
Together you will decide on practical goals. Assessment needs and therapy needs may require different appointments; our team will explain this before booking.
our fees
Fees Medicare and bulk billing
RM Therapy offers bulk-billed psychology appointments for eligible clients who hold a valid Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card and have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral. Our team checks documentation, remaining Medicare eligibility and participating clinician availability before confirming a bulk-billed appointment.
Provisional psychologist sessions do not attract the listed Better Access Medicare psychology rebates. They may be privately paid or supported by another eligible funding arrangement, which we check before booking. General counselling and couples therapy have separate fees and funding rules.
NDIS and other funding enquiries
Psychology may be available through NDIS funding where the service aligns with your plan. For possible DVA, victims of crime, WorkCover / WorkSafe Victoria, TAC or EAP support, please use the funding enquiry pathway. We check the scheme, clinician and clinic arrangements before confirming whether a funded appointment can be offered.
